"Graphite historical"

People have always participated in the visual aspect of the environment it inhabits. Uniformity imposed on us today is not, as it seems, what is historically normal. It is, in fact, a dehumanization and a depoliticization of the environment. Informal writing on walls has always been part of human culture, and abundant archaeological remains prove, also in historic buildings Aranjuez.

"I wanted to go out and change the world but I could not find a babysitter." Some thoughts about the political efficacy of art images

In this paper I intend to examine whether there is the possibility of a space, however tenuous, in which images generated a critical response. Can some pictures ("art?) affect the understanding of the" politics of images'? Can we be nothing but producers and consumers of images, goods, images existing? In short: Is there a possibility of political efficacy in the images we produce in the field of art? I truly believe so and I'll try to explain.

TITLE OF PAPER / TALK:
Roadmaps. Rogelio López Cuenca.

SUMMARY:
The trajectory of Rogelio López Cuenca (Nerja, 1959) is one of the most consistent artistic practice committed in the English art scene in recent decades. Away from trends, his work clearly personal, explores the fissures that undermine the broad concept of representation in our time: handling, identity, public sphere, city, travel are some of the themes and concepts used, expressed through a personal visual discourse full of appropriations, linguistic resources, alterations and irony. The story, as visible in the environment report immediately in which they operate in contemporary societies, and the strategies of manipulation and alteration of it, is one of the most intense lines of work developed over the last decade.

However, this has happened not to a few conflicts and contradictions. On the other hand under the notion of public art, often are grouped productions and attitudes of very diverse nature. This paper attempts to make a reflection on the various artistic approaches grouped under the above name and generate a critical analysis about the gap between how have operated and the arguments about those who have sought their legitimacy.

WELL PRESENTATION OF MARY (5) PAPER

In recent years I have been developing a multidisciplinary art project that is

central analysis of the landscape as cultural construct. Under this view, the landscape shows as "historic object" in which cultural ideology coupled with historical and socio-economic reality creates a

space / territory inevitably social.
For this reason, where I develop my work, become important as the genesis and scope of plastic and theoretical analysis at the same time. Started working in those places known and
familiar to me (Asturias), then navigate to the territories of others (Galicia, Santander, Segovia, Madrid, Rome, Dublin, London ...), looking for connections and differences between them.
extra strategies I serve both practical and theoretical arts through the acquisition of methods and contemporary forms of anthropology, ethnography, sociology, archeology, cartography, geography and even museum or conservation, I allow analizar y cuestionar la sociedad desde puntos de vista mixtos y pluridisciplinares”.

Report: IN SEARCH OF NATURE BUILT I TWO EXAMPLES ARTISTIC EXPRESSIONS OF NEW ENVIRONMENT TO LANDSCAPE

;
The transformation of the territory by the hand of man as an economic resource, social and cultural development is an intrinsic reality to our own origin. Watching the landscape as cultural construct "and agree, under this view, how a man changes his perception and behavior toward nature around you is essential to understand the genre of landscape art with artists working today.
Through some iconic works of contemporary artists Mark Dion and Olafur Eliasson, dated to the first decade of S. XXI, we see the radical transformation undergone the artistic genre of the "landscape" since the mid-twentieth century to today.

Title: The city as a
antianecoico

My speech - May 5 - will be guided to think about public art as a venue for sound interventions. Its starting a neologism, it antianecoico to describe a space, the public sphere, that of our cities, urban space and ultimately social and reverberating sounds unintentionally but can also be done with it. The city is presented as a rich environment and its natural cacophony is not - at least as a starting point - a negative aspect. On the contrary, all that sound is made a wealth of information that our ears need and our ears, and listen to prioritize as well as know a value. Therefore, noise policies are not necessarily policies that enrich our common environment. City adjectives as antianecoica is approached as a space that accommodates and complements the sound through the set of factors involved in the urban space. With increasing frequency from the artistic environment support sound projects for public spaces. Permanently or on an ad hoc sound interventions often pose a cross-disciplinary approach to the city and what it means. An approach that far from thinking the city as a space and time absorbing his surroundings, the thought of as a living place that interacts, responds and is constantly evolving.
